How to find cheap airport parking

#1: Do your research BEFORE you go to the airport

Check out the spaces and prices, then book in advance. Websites like Travel Supermarket have great comparison tools that will help you find the best parking deals. Sorting everything out before you leave means you’re guaranteed a spot in the car park.

#2: Look for holiday bundles that include parking

A lot of travel agents will include airport parking in your holiday package – the more services you pay for, the bigger the discount. But if you choose this route, remember to double-check the parking conditions, so you know exactly where to park and for how long.

#3: Use residential parking spaces instead of airport car parks

Depending on the airport you’re leaving from, you may be able to find residential parking on websites such as JustPark. Keep in mind that with this option you may still need to use some public transport to get all the way to the airport – but it should be a much shorter distance to navigate.

#4: Compare off-site and on-site parking

If residential parking doesn’t take your fancy, you can choose between two types of airport parking. On-site refers to anything within the airport itself, while off-site means places that are supported or owned by the airport, but not technically inside the airport. With off-site parking there is usually a shuttle service to bring you and your luggage to the terminal.
